Corvara is directly connected to more than 500 km of slopes in the Dolomiti Superski area and is a perfect starting point for the Sella Ronda and the WW1 ski circuits. The ski area Alta Badia is located between 1,300 and 2,778 metres above sea level, in the heart of the Dolomites - UNESCO World Heritage and provides fantastic experiences and an extremely wide range of activities on 130 km of slopes and 54 lifts. Fun and unforgettable moments - "Moviment" makes it possible in the snow parks and on the Fun Slopes.
Besides a well-planned snowmaking system makes sure that the slopes are covered with snow.

The snow-covered villages create a fabulous landscape and a comfortable atmosphere where you can enjoy yourself at numerous sport activities out of skiing, snowboarding and ski touring: walks on well prepared winter paths, guided excursions, excursions with snowshoes, sledging, cross country skiing, horseback riding or excursions on a horse drawn sledge. With the snow falling heavily outside you can go for ice skating, swimming, climbing or playing tennis.

An international event is the annual edition of the Ski world Cup - men’s giant slalom & men’s parallel giant slalom on the Gran Risa slope in La Villa.
